About
My Story becoming a Professional Beach Volleyball Player
Childhood
I was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 2002. My family and I moved to Florida in 2010. I played many sports including basketball, football, baseball and soccer. In 2015, I began pursuing beach volleyball on the shores of Daytona Beach. Growing up in a big family with four siblings, we were highly competitive and always challenged each other to be our best. This competition spurred me to achieve greater heights and reach beyond limits both on and off the court.
High School
Joining a men’s indoor team on my first year in high school gave me a taste of organized volleyball. The position of a starting setter and team captain taught me strong leadership skills and continued the drive to win. There were very few boys that played beach volleyball, so my parents put me into the men’s division where I worked my way from men’s B to the pro division.
Professional
I qualified for my first main draw AVP at the age of 17. At the age of 19 I placed second and third in the main draw with many local tournament wins. Great athletes never stop getting better. That’s why I work with professional trainers and coaches several days a week. I will never stop working to further enhance my strengths and ensure success beyond my record on the court.
